LOST everything in Outlook express including contacts ~ HELP

I did a Microsoft update and it updated my Outlook program. EVERYTHING is

LOST, including my contacts. How do I get all my emails and contact info

back? Please HELP!!

Your subject says Outlook Express, but the above says Outlook. Which do you

mean?
