OE closed due to asoehook.dll

Outlook673
After having Googled it I find no surprise that the culprit is....Symantec.

The song remains the same: "They're workin on it"... get this: while

clicking on links within their own 'Help' section to put out yet another

fire I kept getting scripting errors stating 'Object doesn't support this

property or method'. Kinda interesting that I get a big, red exclamation

point in my NortonSW2004 Status Board when I tell 'em to allow scripts!

Re:OE closed due to asoehook.dll

Norton AntiSpam is proving troublesome for many OE users. At one point,

Symantec's Knowledge Base had some articles on asoehook.dll but no longer.

experiences: http://snipurl.com/3ziv.

Re:OE closed due to asoehook.dll

I guess they've got us by the proverbial short and curlies. It makes no

sense to me to disable a paid for or otherwise service designed to provide

security. Thanks PABear.

Re:OE closed due to asoehook.dll

YMMV but Symantec's been pretty good about refunding the purchase price of

AntiSpam, or at least giving you credit towards another Symantec product.

Re:OE closed due to asoehook.dll

I wasn't aware of that. If only I didn't have and am pleased with Zone Alarm

Pro (86'd Sym's Internet Security and Pro...real resource gluttons). Back to

the drawing board...

thanks again. PA Bear
