IE6&Outlook >> Cumulative patch
I have recieved about a dozen emails in the past two days
that contain cumulative patch attachments. All have been
rejected by OE which "removed access to ...unsafe
attachments..." I am running Windows 98 SE.
These attachments include:
Q359933.exe
pack738.exe
q411494.exe
upgrade6657.exe
Installation.exe
QMS.exe
PATCH.exe
PACK5668.exe
PACK2976.exe
Q438858.exe
When I follow the trail I come upon this
NOTE: "Windows 98, Windows98(SE) and Windows 95 are not
affected by this issue."
Where do we go from here?
Windows 98se is vulnerable to Swen, which is most likely the
virus you would get if you opened one of those attachments.
