- Calendaring >> School: coping with 2-week timetable.We are a school working to a 2-week timetable - week1 and week2. Holidays
don't count so if we have a weeks holiday following a week1 then the week we
return to school follows a week 2 timetable. How can outlook 'move'
fortnightly appointments forward a week?

- Contact >> Russ Valentine-please give more infoPlease elaborate on your answer below. Am trying to export from outlook 2003 contacts.pst and then import to outlook 2002 version. Get error.
Thank you.
This does not fit. You need to pay closer attention to the type of PST file
you are actually creating. If you are exporting a PST file that was created
anew in Outlook 2003, neither Outlook 2002 nor Outlook 2000 can access it.
You must create the old format PST ("Outlook 97-2002") in Outlook 2003 for
earlier versions to access it, and you cannot do so with the export
function, only the File > New > Outlook Data File... function can create
such a file.

- Outlook General >> OL2000 - not emptying Deleted Items folderI am using Outlook 2000 on XP. I have gone in to Tools/Options and selected
the Automatically empty Deleted Items folder upon exiting, but this is not
happening. I am having this problem on both my desktop and my laptop. I
have recently installed OsaSync Pro, which I suspect is causing the issue,
but wanted to see if there were any other thoughts out there.

- Outlook General >> Deleting email accountsI have set up several email addresses in Outlook. Now that I no longer need
one of them, I have deleted it. However, I am still receiving mail to that
address on this computer, rather than on the other computer.

- Outlook General >> Mouse Cursor disappears in Outlook when using Remote DesktopAs far as I know this ONLY happens in Outlook 2007 (I've tried Word, Excel,
Windows Explorer, my own apps, etc.), and only when using Remote desktop with
a connection with low bandwidth (or high latency).
The mouse cursor simply disappears when the cursor is over the Outlook
window. The highlights still happen (if the cursor hovers over the
application close button, for example). The cursor comes back as soon as it's
no longer on top of the Outlook window. Makes using outlook very annoying.
It happened when I was connecting to my Vista 64 box (which is sitting in
Toronto) with remote desktop from Taiwan & Dominican Republic. It does not
happen when I'm connecting with remote desktop from Toronto (from the office).
Any hints?
Thanks!

- Outlook >> Source Edit or DowngradingIf there is no way to source edit, how do I downgrade JUST outlook or is that
not possible?
If that's not possible, how do I completely downgrade if there's a faster
way than uninstalling and re installing.
You would think there would be as much html options in outlook 2k7 and 2k3.
I guess not.

- Outlook General >> How do I save an attached file WITHIN the body of email when I sa.When used outlook 2000 I could save an e-mail as a word file and it would
retain any attachment within the body of the word document (just as it
appeared in outlook) so when going into the word file I would see an icon for
the attached file, double click and open it. Outlook 03 seems to remove the
attached file when saving the e-mail as a word document. It's really really
annoying!!! Please help!!!

Outlook General >> OWA 2003 - Cannot delete emails
We have a strange problem with OWA 2003/Exchange 2003. Some users (running
Windows XP, some with SP1 and one w/ SP2) cannot delete emails from the main
OWA screen. They have to actually open the email and click on the "x" to
delete it. I have found that if they go into the options screen just once,
and then save the options (whether they've made changes or not), then they
can delete emails normally from the main screen. They have to do this each
time they log in to OWA, however.
Any ideas on how to fix this quirkiness?
Thanks!
Tara

- Outlook General >> Issue with .pst(BackStory)
We had a motherboard go bad on a computer and while it's being fixed, we
needed to get some of the data off for the user. We put the HD in a HD
enclosure and connected it up to an extra computer via usb.
The only two .pst files on the HD where archive.pst (563 MB) and the
Backup.pst (1.2GB) When I open outlook and open data files, both of these
files only have one folder (Deleted Items). I then restored both files from
backup and they were the same size and had only the one folder each (deleted
Items). Could all the saved emails, contacts and calendars events be stored
in another file?
Thx
Brian

previously ran AOL I have since got rid of AOL removed
the program and all AOL files etc. But still when I go
into Outlook or Outlook Express I get the AOL icon at the
top right of the screen. It is not creating a problem
but I would like for the AOL icon to be gone and the
Windows icon to appear.
Any help will be appreciated.

- Outlook >> Outlook Meeting RequestsOK guys, this is the situation:
User A sends a meeting request to user B. User B receives this
invitation and accepts, declines etc the request. However, User A does
not get a response saying that User B has accepted, declined the
meeting.
This is currently affecting all users at a 20 person office running
Exchange 2003 with Outlook 2003 SP2.
Any ideas???
I will personally kiss your feet if you can solve this for me ;)

- Outlook >> How do you print 1 Page and Network Printers Appear in Word but not OutlookI have two problems. First, it seems rather ridiculuous that there is no
easy way to print one page of an e-mail message. The only choice that you
have are even, odd, and all pages. The default format for e-mail is html.
What is even stranger is that I have Word 2003 SP1 set as the default for
editing e-mail messages, but when I click on edit on the Outlook menu bar,
it does not default to the word print dialog box, which last time I checked
allowed you to specify a range of pages.
The other problem is that I have a networked printer that appears in the
Word Printer dialog box, but does not appear in the Outlook dialog box.
You would think that Outlook and Word would use the same printer dialog
routine because they are both parts of the Office software.
TIA,
Pete
