Need to know how to find and use categories in Outlook 03

As a new Outlook 2003 user, I have created distribution lists and categories

(for snail mail) How to I pull up contacts by categories

You can either use Advanced Find or change to the By Category View. (View |

Arrange By....)

Right-click on the contact-type folder, Advanced Find, More Choices tab.



The Categories column is probably already shown in the contact-type folder.

If not, right-click and use Field Chooser to add it (and drag to whatever

position you want). You can then click on the column header to sort which

would group together similar categoried contacts.



You could also edit the view for that folder to group (by categories).

Actually that should already be available just by using the view drop-down

listbox in the toolbar (i.e., By Category).
