IE6&Outlook >> Copy *.WAB file from backup

I've reinstalled WinXP and have OE6. I forgot to export all my identities
folders as text files, so I could import them after I've reinstalled XP. I
have a backup of the *.WAB file before I wiped my hard disk and reinstalled
XP.

Can I just copy the *.WAB backup file to the location of my current WAB file
and everything will be fine? - i.e., I'll have all my old email addresses
and the identities and nothing will be corrupted?

I don't use Outlook so there should be a problem with sharing address books.

Thanks

IE6&Outlook >> Copy *.WAB file from backup Yes, that will work--make your old *wab file overwrite the new one, and OE
will use that address book.
