How do you update http mail store in Outlook 2003

I recently updated from Office professional 2003 to 2007 but as 2007 cannot

be read by earlier versions downgraded back to 2003. I have now lost my

Hotmail connection in Outlook with the message 'http mail store could not be

properly updated'. Can this be rectified and if so How ? Any help gratefully

received.

Niether can 2003 (unicode) be read by earlier version OL, The 2007 & 2003

default data format is the same.
