Outlook General >> Rules not working I set up a rule in Outlook 2003 on my desktop to forward emails received from
a specific email address to another specified email address (the email
address I am forwarding to is on my laptop using outlook express). It is not
working - nothing happens.

(I tried the same thing using outlook express on my laptop and it worked fine)

Outlook General >> Rules not working This is how it was set up:

from (people or distribution list)
forward it to (people or distribution list)
(I did not use any exceptions)
Turned rule on

Description:

Apply this rule after message arrives
from <email address>
forward it to <email address>

(the actual email addresses are in < >)

Hope this helps; really need to be able to forward messages from a client

Were I doing it, I'd change the condition to "with specific words in the
sender's address" instead of "from"

Outlook General >> Rules not working Though I don't understand why - changing it to specific words in the sender's
address seems to work. Thanks for your help - appreciate it.

Outlook General >> Rules not working Sir,

I am having the same problem.

You mentioned that the actual email addresses are in <>.

I get a message saying "< >" is not supported.

Please advise further.

Thank you.
