Re:can't get the pst file from the roaming profile

If I'm not mistaken, the folders that the PST files are in are excluded from

the roaming profile. Best bet would be to establish a profile where the PST

file comes from a network drive, but this doesn't do much good because if

the person goes offsite, they would still be w/out the PST file. Not to

mention the fact that Microsoft doesn't support the use of PST file(s) from

network drives.

/neo

PS - roaming profiles are ideal for exchange only sites.

Re:can't get the pst file from the roaming profile

That is to be expected because the folder that the PST is in will not be

replicated back to the server. (Basically anything under \documents and

settings\<userid>\local settings is excluded by default from a roaming

profile. PST files are placed here so they don't copy back. Next machine

you logon to, this file is missing and kaboom... No PST.)

/neo

PS - Microsoft does this for a reason. Think of the problems that might

occour... eg. Data corruption, Lengthy logoff to copy large PST files back,

.etc
