company's mail.xxx.com/exchange website as an LDAP server
Outlook257
I'd like to make my company Outlook info available to my home edition (2003) without going through the website. Can I do this without IT support? TIA, Eric - |

Re:company's mail.xxx.com/exchange website as an LDAP server
LDAP is Active Directory address book - is that what you want or do you mean
OWA and want your email in Outlook? If you use OWA with an http address (not https) you can create an HTTP account and enter the url, including your account name, in the http url field. ( http://owa.domain.com/exchange/alias format) Note that you will only be able to use email, not the other special folders. If you really do mean ldap, you need to know the server address and set up an ldap address book. -- Diane Poremsky [MVP - Outlook] Author, Teach Yourself Outlook 2003 in 24 Hours Coauthor, OneNote 2003 for Windows (Visual QuickStart Guide) Author, Google and Other Search Engines (Visual QuickStart Guide) Outlook Tips: http://www.outlook-tips.net/ Outlook & Exchange Solutions Center: http://www.slipstick.com Join OneNote Tips mailing list: http://www.onenote-tips.net/ "EF" <EF@discussions.microsoft.com>wrote in message QuoteI'd like to make my company Outlook info available to my home edition - |
