Pop Up / Show details in Grid

Outlook562
In the calendar/planner options, I can specify that I want to show calendar

details in either the grid, a popup, or both. Problem is, it just doesn't

seem to work. If I don't have my calendar shared, setting these options just

desn't seem to work at all - the details are not available in either Meeting

Requests or Group Calendars. If I share my calendar, I get the details in the

grid and in popups both, regardless of how I have these option set.

They just don't seem to have any effect on anything. We use Exchange 2000.

Thanks,

Re:Pop Up / Show details in Grid

Oops. Never mind. I see now tha these options control what I want to see on

my client of what another user is sharing - and NOT a method of sharing my

info.

Thanks,

Jeff

Re:Pop Up / Show details in Grid

Then how DO you hide details of your appointments from others who can view

your busy/free schedule? It's possible to mark each appointment as Private,

but that just replaces the details with "Private Appointment". It seems some

users are able to hide all details of their appointments -- I can see the

time blocks, but not the details.

Re:Pop Up / Show details in Grid

Don't share your calendar. On the properties for the calendar, there's a

sharing tab. Set it to "None". I'm not at a computer wher sharing is an

option, so I can't give you beter details.
