No attachments

I am using Outlook in Office XP for my mail. I can receive email with

attachments. I can send an email without an attachment The problem is I

cannot send an email with attachments, nor can I reply to or forward and

existing email. Sometimes they stay in my Outbox, sometimes they go to the

Sent file and I receive an undelivered message in the Inbox. Is there some

settings I can check into to solve this problem.

The first thing to do is to disable scanning mail with an AV program. They

often interfere with proper mail operation.
