When I send an e-mail with an attachment most people can not ope them. If i

send the same attachment via aol the recipient can ope it easily. is there a

setting I need to change?

You need to compose your message in either Plain Text or HTML format. Only

another Outlook client can read attachments when you compose in Rich Text

format.
