- IE6&Outlook >> error message 453 0x800CCC79I get the following error message trying to send mail to a group of 54
elements. (Total name count: 237)
I have this problem only with OE 6, the same group on my old PC (OE 4)
works OK as always.
Tried to suspend firewall and Vscan, did't work.
Only solution so far: split the group in two smaller subgroups, and I
can send my message.

- Outlook >> Duplicate Messages in Outlook 2003I recently installed Outlook 2003. I imported all settings from OE and
everything appeared to work OK. I set Outlook to leave messages on the
server so that I can download the messages to another mail client.
When I close Outlook and reopen it, Outlook downloads all the messages on
the server again. If Outlook is not closed, no duplicates are received when
sending and receiving. I can repeat the downloads over and over again each
time I close/open Outlook.
I have serveral accounts set up. I tried send/receiving each account
seperately, but the same thing happened.
I would appreciate any thoughts on this behavior.
Thanks.

- Calendaring >> Outlook 2003, calendar printing problemHello Y'all.
When I try to print the daily activities from Outlook
2003, for a calendar that is
in the public folder, I have the following message:
"this folder cannot be opened because there is a
configuration problem on
the server. Contact your Exchange Server administrator for
assistance".
1: I have full access to the calendar, and can see it on
the screen and even modify it.
2: I can print others like weekly, work week, monthly...,
just not daily.
3: I can print the daily activites for my own calendar
(not shared...not the public folder)
Any ideas on what's going on, and how to fix that bug?
Running Exchange 5.5, any extra configs needed?
Thank y'all much for y'allz help.

- Outlook >> Where to turn off entire Word program opens when previewing attchMany users have complained about this. When opening a Word e-mail attachment
the entire Word program is opened. Sometimes a viewer is opened on top of
Word and when you close it Word is there with the file. Other times it just
opens it in Word. Where are these options? I thought
Help...Privacy...Options...Attachments Handling...Attachment and Document
Previewers uncheck the Word options would change the behavior but it didn't.

- Calendaring >> ICS Internet Calendar Subscription file won't open in Outlook 2007I have been using the "send as internet calendar" option between Outlook 2003
home and office systems to keep both systems up to date for meetings and
such. I just upgraded to Office 2007 and found that .ICS files generated in
Outlook 2003 will not open in Outlook 2007.
I first get an info message: This file cannot be previewed because there is
no previewer installed for it.
If I double click on the ICS attachment and try to open the attachment I get
an error message: application not found.
If I save the ICS attachment and then try to open it with Outlook 2007 I get
an error pop-up: "The command line argument is not valid. Verify the switch
that you are using."

- Outlook >> Want to Retrive Message That Was AutoArchived ...I want to access one of those messages that Outlook 2000
has been kind enough to AutoArchive for me, from time to
time. How can this be accomplished, please?
Using my "help" function in Outlook 2000 has not been
helpful.
Thanks.

- Outlook >> Outlook 2003 and Windows MessengerI use a machine at home and a machine at work. I leave both running all the
time. I have Windows Messenger running on both, and Outlook 2003 on both. My
home machine always hijacks Windows Messenger whenever it does a
Send/Receive. I downloaded the ORK and used the Group Policy editor to turn
off every Windows Messenger-related item I could see, but no luck. To be
honest, I don't care if Windows Messenger is *at all* connected with my
Office 2003 installation. I only use it for instant messaging with a few
people. But I can't get it to stop! Anyone have a clue?

- Calendaring >> Monthly Calendar View?Outlook 2003 is great, but I would prefer to have the monthly calendar
display from Sunday through Saturday with Sun & Sat shown as full days - like
the others. The weekly view is correct, but I need to view the whole month
and with Saturday and Sunday shown in half-spaces is a real pain (Sunday as
the start of my work week).
Thanks in advance.

- Outlook General >> Can't transfer Outlook filesI have read all of the answers about transferring Outlook files from one
compute to another. None have helped.
I have an XP system with Outlook 2000. I have searched the hard drive for
.pst and .pab files. Both come up blank. I have then looked in the
directories where previous responses to this forum have instructed. Again, I
cannot find them.
Please advise on the following:
1. Where can I find my Outlook 2000 files on the old computer?
2. How can I transfer them to my new computer which is outfitted with
Windows Vista and Outlook 2003?
Thank you in advance for your help.

- Outlook General >> How can I make tasks synchronize correctly?I sychronize between a PC at my office and a PC at home using a iPAQ. When I
check off a recurring task as complete, the task is regenerated correctly.
But then when I go to the other location and syncronize, the task shows as
not checked, and usually shows a date weeks prior. This happens on both PCs.
Any ideas?
