error reporting/style/font

Outlook868
Sorry, but 2 questions if allowable.

I have Outlook 2002 SP3, my style and font change everytime I send a

message. I had it originally set to Normal and font to Comic Sans MS and it

goes to Paragraph and Times.

the other thing is whenever I shut down and close Outlook it wants to report

an error.

I have done detect and repair but nothing changed. Can you help?

thank you and have a nice day

Re:error reporting/style/font

where did you set it to comic sans and are you using html or plain text?

something is probably not allowing outlook to close cleanly. does it work if

you close correctly if you start it using the safe switch?

Re:error reporting/style/font

Thank you, I set it in Tools\Options\MailFormat. It has worked perfectly for

quite some time. Yes, HTML.

never tried safe switch, as I said did try detect and repair. It is weird.

Unless I can turn off the error reporting. Thank you again

will look at your link

Re:error reporting/style/font

I am still having the problem of shutting down Outlook, I do start it

correctly and close the same way. Switches will not work for me however.

As for the format, fonts, no matter what I do it goes to Times for the font

and to Paragraph for style. This is weird.

I use MS Office XP and have all updates

thank you
