- Outlook General >> MAPISP32 caused an invalid page fault in module MINET32.dll (OL97)This happens during a send/receive on the Internet E-Mail account in OL97
The problem is exactly decribed in
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;266340
however, simply replacing the Minet32.dll file doesn't solve the problem.
While looking around the internet it seems that this problem is reported
several times and not solved with the suggestions of Microsoft art 266340
Does anybody has the 'real' solution for this nightmare ? Even re-installing
OL97 doesn't help....

- Outlook General >> Error message from Word when sending from OutlookAn user gets "Misslyckad klientåtgärd." - that is some thing lik
"Client task failed" - in a messages box from MS Word, when she trie
to send a mail to a lot of recipiants from Outlook.
She should send to 400 recipiants, but tried to do it in portions o
100 each. When she had sent 3 messages with 100 bcc-receivers each sh
got the error message when sending the 4:th message.
She then devided the DL for that messages into two parts. The firs
with 50 adresses was accepted, but the next caused the same erro
message again.
And so on...
There are no traces in the servers logs.
Does anyone have an idea?

- Outlook General >> OE stopped workingI am unable to use Outlook Express 6.0 on my computer at work.
We are running Win XP Pro with SP2.
If you click on the Outlook Express icon, you see the OE splash screen
and it sits there for several minutes and then disappears.
I tried editing the registry, reinstalling WIN XP SP2 and nothing
worked.
After editing the registry it keeps telling me that there is already a
newer version of Internet Explorer already on the computer. Even
though editing the registry is supposed to stop it from doing this.
If you can advise further email me at dogs1@cox.net
Thanks

- Outlook >> Outlook 2003 - Exchange Server 5.5 - Size of OST. File?Hello,
I have installed Outlook 2003 and I want, that the size of my .ost file
exceeds 2gb. Is this possible with exchange 5.5 in the background? I know,
that pst-files can exceed 2gb - nearly 4 tb in unicode mode, what will be
enough for the next few years :-)
How can I do this?
Thank you,

- Outlook General >> having trouble renaming name of PST as shown in folder list in OL2003I've successfully moved my moved my OL 2000 (IMO) PST file over from PC#1
to PC#2 and can see everything in it (as an archive file) when I open OL2003
installed on PC#2. MS Exchange Server is not installed on PC#2 (free
standing, non-networked).
Both of my PST files (the new OL2003 file and the archive OL2000 PST file)
are called: Personal Folders in the folder list (each PST has a different
file name ending with the extension *.PST; no confusion there).
When I try to rename one of the PST's parent names (Personal Folders) as
shown in the folder list, by right clicking, the rename option is grayed
out, and when I right click and select "Properties for "Personal Folders"
and chose the "general" tab, I cannot modify the name Personal Folders in
the field at the top).
Any idea on how I can change the name given by OL2003 to one of my PST's
(either the unicode file created by OL2003 or the non-unicode file which I'm
using as an archive PST), insofar as the name is displayed in the folder
list? Nella

Outlook >> Unable to connect to incoming server because mail box is in use??
I can send but not receive e-mail. Error says that Outlook could not connect
to the incoming mail server because your mailbox on the server was in use. Is
this a anti-spyware or anti-virus software caused problem? I've tried to
temporarily disable those programs to no avail.

- Outlook >> pst issueI am having some issues with my bosses Outlook 2002 pst
file. There are several situations going on here which I
will try to explain in detail. I have all pst files saved
on the network for backup purposes. The issue is just with
my boss and no one else. There are different situations
when the error occurs. If he is already in Outlook and
tries to open his network folder to save emails, Outlook
locks up. If he is trying to login to Outlook, his email
locks up and he cannot even login. I have pinpointed it to
the pst file because if I remove the path to his pst
(data) files from his Outlook, he is able to get into
outlook fine. Once I run the repair or do whatever I have
done to get it working again, I can successfully add the
pst data file to his Outlook again. If the repair has not
fixed it, and I try to add the pst file to his Outlook, it
does not lock up his Outlook but the add pst screens hang.
If it is successful, it adds the file immediately. I have
tried this from my computer as well with the same
occurrences. If he is having issues with the pst file, I
have tried adding the file to my outlook and get the same
problem. Once I run the repair or whatever I do to get it
working again.. I am also successful. Thus, I have
pinpointed the issue to the pst file.
However, it occurs about once a week or so. His pst file
is only 500 MB or so. Large, but not a huge file.
This is what I have tried so far.. I have created a new
w2k profile on his workstation as well as a new outlook
profile. I have also tried recreating a new pst file and
moving the folders from his old one to his new one. I have
made a copy of the pst file, split the pst file into two
files, compacted the files, and ran a repair. If one fix
doesn’t work.. I try something else and eventually get it
working. One of them usually works.. but only for about a
week and then same issue.
My boss is getting a little upset with the situation.. so
I’m getting desperate and would appreciate any suggestions

- Calendaring >> Some Outlook 2000 Calenders not updatingAny Ideas
Using Outlook 2000 SP1, IMO, Net Folders add-in installed etc..
We are using Internet Mail, I checked to make sure everyone had the mail configuration set to Internet Mail Only. Initially some were set to the Corporate/Workgroup and was not allowing some calendars to be viewed, issue fixed there, but now...the only 2 calendars I can not seem to update.
I have received the invitation, setup the calendar to load where I want, but have not seen anything pull in for either of their calendars.
Have check setting on both the laptop (running Win 2000 w/Outlook 2000 SP1) and desktop (running Win '98se w/Outlook 2000 SP1, and are set identical as much as I can see. Other machines in the office are mixed: running Win '98se, XP, and running Outlook 2000 or Outlook 2000 SP1 and are pulling into my outlook fine.
Can't seem to resolve the issue. Have uninstalled Outlook, reinstalled ..same issue..

- Outlook General >> Deleted Emails ReappearI have a user who says that she is deleting about a month's worth of emails
at once from her inbox. She then deletes them from her Deleted Items. She
says that they are reappearing shortly after she deleted them from the
deleted items.
She does not have auto archive turned on on any folders, and no rules are
set up. We are using Outlook XP and Windows 2000. We are also using
Exchange 5.5. Apparently this has only been happening recently, and she has
been a user for many years.
Any advice would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance for any help anyone
has to offer!

- Outlook >> Outlook 2003 Name Resolution Eroor W2K Server Exchange 2000Hey I have seen this question popping up alot in google
groups however I have not found a solution yet. After
upgrading to office 2k3 I am unable to connect to the
exchange server using check name. It returns the error:
"The name could not be resolved. The connection to the
Microsoft Exhange Server is unavailable. Outlook must be
connected to complete this action."
If I uninstall reinstall Outlook XP I am able to connect
no problem so long as I delete the old profile. I can
even have have both installed at the same time and XP
will work while 2k3 will not. I also tried setting it up
on another workstation however I still get the same error
message. Has something changed under the hood in 2003
that will cause this to happen?
