how to stop completed tasks from printing in calender

when printing a calender for my planner, I want the tasks to print too but only the ones relavent to the date, not all my tasks, completed or not completed - |

Open your tasks folder and filter the view to Active Tasks for Selected Days.

I already tried that. It will stop it when I only print the tasks, but if I
print a page per day or 2page per day calender and want the taskpad included it won't let me filter the tasks and I end up with a list of all my tasks (completed and that have nothin to do with that date). I'm trying to get away from a hand writting everything in my paper planner, especially since it's already in outlook.
