Server error: Web <Root Web> is busy.

Web Programming364
I just posted this message annonymously, but have added my

email address here so that you can reach me more easily.

I have used my FrontPage 2002 for a long time, and never

had trouble publishing. Now I am continually getting the

error message: Server error: Web <Root Web>is busy.

Please try again.

I have googled the error message, and tried to do those

fixes, none of which work. I have: defragmented the

disk, uninstalled and re-installed FrontPage, Recalculated

Hyperlinks, disabled my Norton Anit-virus and Firewall,

contacted my server support chat (They told me it must be

a Microsoft problem, since their suggestions were also

unsuccessful). I still get the same error. Please Help!

Ask your host to run a check on the extensions for your account.

Re:Server error: Web <Root Web> is busy.

Hi Thomas,

I contacted my Earthlink tech chat, and had them explain

how to disable and re-enable my extensions. It worked! I

was finally able to publish everything.

Thank you so much for your kind assistance!

Mary Ann
