FP 2003 embeding a video question!

I am new to FP 2003. I understand that 2002 supports embeding a Windows

Media file, and 2003 only talks about embeding a Flash file. Can FP 2003 use

Windows Media like previous versions do? And, is it possible to create a

Flash video file to embed w/o buying Macromedia Flash just to make a couple

of small video files? Thanks for any help.
