How do I add a single item and upload without uploading the whole.

Web Programming390
I don't know how to upload a single new or edited page without uploading the

whole site and erasing previous work. Does 2000 not have this option?

Check the little box that says to upload only the change pages

Why would it erase previous work?

3 of us are editing the web page. If I want to edit or ad to a page, it wants

to load the file on have on my local computer. If I haven't erased and

downloaded right before, I will override any chnges the other folks have made.

I did that and attempted to edit an existing page. It asked me about

overriding a million times. Then it changed the home page and di not accept

my editing changes. I did what you said.

Re:How do I add a single item and upload without uploading the whole.

You either need to work directly on the live/remote site directly in FP using File | Menu | Open Web

/ Site or you need to first publish the current version down to your PC using File Menu | Publish

Web / Site and then make your changes and re-publish.
