Patches and Upgrade, IIS4?

Web Programming154
We just started to use IIS4, with 2000 Server.

Are there great benefits in upgrading to IIS5 or 6?

Could I be sure that all useful patches are fetched via

the Windows Update application or should I install them

manually?

/ thanks for any tip

Re:Patches and Upgrade, IIS4?

You can check for available patches for most Microsoft products here:

http://www.microsoft.com/technet/treeview/default.asp?url" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">www.microsoft.com/technet/treeview/default.asp=/technet/security/

current.asp

Just enter the product and service pack and it will display available

patches for that product. You can also sign up for security bulletins from

the link near the top so that you are informed when new patches are

released. Be aware that it only lists patches for the product that you

choose, so you will need to check individually for IIS, OS, etc.

| No, you are not using IIS4 with 2000 server. 2000 uses IIs5.
