U B webmaster-I B musician without a clue- PLEASE HELP

Web Programming233
I lost my webmaster and left to updating my site and have never used

frontpage or dreamweaver before.Have no clue about websites. my hosting

service doesn't offer support and aren't suppose to help but kinda did, So

with very little advise *i went to control panel - to the file manager page -

i located the caendar.php file- in the /www/wwwfolder - i copied the phpindex

file and pasted it into a new testphpindex file - i saved that file and

exited. I create another page, named

indextest.php and then copied the current content of index.php to

indextest.php

Then I made changes to indextest.php and viewed them at

domainname.com/indextest.php When everything with the file was OK,

I copied the content back to the index.php file. (editing the values to the

new event). I have two bios and two pics on the calander of the front page.

there is an actual calendar page that I don't know how to change. I'm a

musician and have to at least have my gigs on my calendar current. It's been

3 months since. I thank anyone whom could help me so very kindly.
