How do I find a deleted web site
Web Programming377
When I tried to upload a site last night, all these other folders of sites I was working on were on the frontpage ftp. I deleted them from there and now I can't locate them anywhere. They were sites I was working on, and I need to find them. Any suggestions? - |

Every time you make any changes to a website, you should create a backup CD. Tom J - |

Are they on your ISP's server?

Re:How do I find a deleted web site
Thank you for your quick answer. I didn't make a backup (of course not
NOTHING bad was gonna happen...duh) I just thought I was deleting them from the ftp upload, not from the entire system. I'm kind of surprised that I wasn't given some kind of warning. I have my work cut out for me now. I guess the "live and learn" principle should be applied here. Thanks again for answering so quickly. sunnyone "Tom J" wrote: Quote

Thank you for your quick reply. I checked on the server just in case, but
they aren't there. Back to the drawing board for me. Thanks again, sunnyone "E. T. Culling" wrote: QuoteAre they on your ISP's server? |

Re:How do I find a deleted web site
Once they're gone they're gone unless you; 1- make backups, or 2- work =
locally and Publish to server using http:// method, then you always have = copy (requires FP extensions installed on server). "sunnyone" <sunnyone@discussions.microsoft.com>wrote in message = QuoteThank you for your quick answer. I didn't make a backup (of course = |
