Trouble Windows Live Mail
Windows Vista6
I'm running Vista Home Basic along with "Live Mail". Lately I'm having difficulty with icons in the notification tray. Icon for new mail not being shown. Icon for new mail not being shown but new mail is there. No icon at all shown. Anyone here had these symptoms and overcome them? Bill - |

Yes I'm using Windows Live Mail. From what I read, I have the impression that this is the mail system in Microsofts future. I figured why not start using it now, rather than have to chnge a litle later when they drop Windows Mail. "Gordon" wrote: Quote"willshaw" <willshaw@discussions.microsoft.com>wrote in message |

Are you set to hide inactive icons? Rightclick the notification

Yes I'm set to hide icons but mail generally shows because its used often.
Are you suggestion because I have this set on, the new mail icon will act erratically? "Mark L. Ferguson" wrote: QuoteAre you set to hide inactive icons? Rightclick the notification |

willshaw,
You will probably get more answers if you post to the correct newsgroup, which is "microsoft.public.windows.live.mail.desktop.
