Every time I hear someone talking about a linux build recently it seems

to be about those wobbly windows, like you said stuff that was out ages

ago with Beryl.

Seems to me that there trying to be more like windows adding pointless

features that each times take up more memory/processing

If that video displays Ubuntu's best then it is not worth a look.

If you must insist on pushing Ubuntu at least find a good reason to do so.

So far you have claimed it is secure which it isn't.

You have shown another windows manager that does nothing useful.

You have claimed a wealth of applications.. none of which are not also

available for windows.

You said people here would save money.. by throwing away paid for software?

You are not very convincing and I expect your success rate is about zero

here.

Tar is available for Windows? The Linux file system is available for

Windows? The not being virus and malware prone is available for Windows?

I don't think so, chum.



By not buying it in the first place or, if they need another language,

they can get Ubuntu for free whereas Vista wants you to upgrade to

Ultimate for a quasi language change or buy another copy.



Well, I get emails all the time asking about it so what you expect ain't

happening.

hardly anyone cares to even bother to install them, unless they have

coexistence requirements. NTFS meets the performance and function needs

of most.



Well, it's available on my systems, but it won't stop Windows being a

more appealing target for the creators of those.
