Windows Vista >> Deleting Program Folders When I try to delete a folder under "C:\Program files", a message
box tells me that I must have permissions. How is this set up. I
tried all permissions that I can find but nothing works? Any help
appreciated!

Windows Vista >> Deleting Program Folders Hey glamart--

The way you get permissions to act on the folder are to take ownership of
the folder however, do not try to get rid of a program by simply deleting
the folder unless you are doing so as part of a manual uninstall. There are
registry keys and values, and .dlls involved often so if you incompletely
uinstall by deleting the folder, you may be in for problems in the future
installing a newer version, etc.

Good luck,

Windows Vista >> Deleting Program Folders Glamart--

This may be easier to follow. There is more than one way in that you can
give users all the priveleges in the object box, but there again, it's one
thing to give temporary permission and another thing to give permission to a
large folder with a lot of files in terms of security. I'm not trying to
preach, just to give the caveats:
