re-sizing windows

Windows Vista15
I don't know if this is the right place to post this, but when I am in the

Internet Explorer that comes with vista I cannot get a window to stay

resized. I am putting photos on the internet, I click the box to browse for

my photos, go to the window that opens up (which is very small) I resize the

window to show all the files abd change the view of how the files are

displayed, click the file I want, go back to repeat the exercise and the

window has gone back to the small size again. In other words every time I

have to resize the window and change the view which is so frustrating as I

have many photos at one time to put on the site. When I was using XP, the

window stayed resized for the whole of the session, I only had to resize

once while I was working. Is there any way round this. I would be so

grateful for some help please.

Re:re-sizing windows

Clicking the X in the corner should set the size for next time. Simply

choosing a file and OK does not.

Re:re-sizing windows

Hello Mark

thank you for your reply, but I really don't know what you mean. I cannot

make the box larger by clicking the X, that shuts it down and there are not

the usual minimize and maximize buttons in the corner only the x to close

the window down, so I am not sure what you mean. I resize the window by

dragging the corners, but it immediatly goes back to the same size when you

move away from the window. Perhaps I have misunderstood what you mean,

anymore suggestions please.

Re:re-sizing windows

Thank you for that, but it does not work. When I double click my file to

put it onto the internet, it automatically goes back to the browse box

without giving me any option to close it down, and when I go back to put the

next photo on, the window has gone back to the small size. Its most

frustrating. Any more suggestions.

Re:re-sizing windows

Explorer windows won't stay the same size for me either - whether

directly in Explorer or in a program's interface. Is there a fix for

this annoyance? :)
