There was an unexpecte error: Parameter is incorrect. (0x80070057) Please

close System Restore and try again. That is what happens!!!!

Hi Eric,

You might try performing a Repair Install. This will allow you to

repair your Vista installation without loosing your files, settings, and

programs. This tutorial will show you how to do it.

Hi eric1018

Go to control panel then to system click it look in the upper left to system

protcetion

click it and make sure there is a check mark in the box by {C:\} {System}

This may not fix your problem but it will fix system restore !

If you have a check there allready you have real problems so i can not help !

There was an unexpecte error: Parameter is incorrect. (0x80070057) Please

close System Restore and try again.

I had this error about a month ago and it fixed system restore but there was

no restore points to go back to !

Good Luck
