Windows Vista >> cannot uninstall programs Hi, Shooter13.

First question: HOW are you trying to uninstall something?

Second question: What is "something"?

You should be able to uninstall just about any program by clicking Start |
Control Panel | Programs and Features. Is that what you are doing? You
didn?t say, and we can't watch your computer, so we have to ask.

Windows Vista >> cannot uninstall programs Try disabling User Account Control temporarily (Control Panel > User
Accounts > Turn User Account Control On and Off) > then attempt the
uninstall again.

What are you trying to uninstall?
Was it pre-installed when you bought the PC?
Was Vista pre-installed or did you install it yourself?

Windows Vista >> cannot uninstall programs To add to the above, are you seeing any messages such as Access Denied?

Goto Control Panel > User Accounts
The word "Administrator" should appear under your name.
If not, then you will need to log in with an administrator account.

Windows Vista >> cannot uninstall programs
O.k sorry for late response.

This laptop came with windows vista.

I am trying to uninstall a number of things.
amongst which are a online poker site and real player.

I have gone to control panel, programs and features, uninstall
program
clicked uninstall
whereupon the message read
User Account Control
Windows needs your permission to continue

I click continue.

then up pops this:
Installed updates you do not have suffiecient access to uninstall rea
player.
Please contact your system administrator.

I have gone to user account control i have selected the option to tur
user account control on or off i get the message needs your permissio
to continue i click continue.
Then i have tried to uninstall again but it still tells me to contac
my system administrator
