Shutdown on return from sleep

Windows Vista4
When I put my laptop into sleep mode it works fine. Trying to return from

sleep mode it instantly shuts down on me. Anyone have any ideas what I have

set up wrong?

The hybrid sleep feature and the hibernation feature in Windows Vista may

become unavailable after you use the Disk Cleanup Tool :

Did the laptop originally release with Vista? If not then it may be an ACPI

bios driver issue.

I bought my Compal FL90 with Vista pre installed. the ACPI is a real problem

as well if I enable it in BIOS my laptop will not start at all.
