Can not diskplay Wallpaper in Windows Vista Home Premium

Windows Vista24
I tried to change the Desktop Background (Wallpaper) in Windows Vista Home

Premium, through the Control Panel->Appearance and Personalization->Desktop

Backgroups. I tried a number of times but all I can get in the backgroupnd is

a solid color.

I am using an HP v17 LCD Monitor with an NVIDIA GeForce 8600 GTS Graphics

card.

My system is a 32-bit x86 based Hewlett Packard with 2 GB of RAM and 512 MB

on the graphics card.

It is odd that no Background Pictures are ever displayed when chosen from

the Control Panel.

What could be the reason for this?

Hi Brian,

Did you select a new location for the images? See step 4 in this

tutorial.
