Whatever became of HyperTerminal?
Windows Vista35
What is one supposed to do about running a terminal program in Vista since it doesn't seem to be in Home Premium anywhere? No HyperTerminal that I can find? Any suggestions? I have to connect to some old systems and serial devices occasionally. TIA - |

Here's an updated version of the free one included in earlier Windows...

Re:Whatever became of HyperTerminal?
A misunderstanding I think. Otherwise why would they bother to include a
Phone and Modem Options applet in Vista's Control Panel? Aside from that HyperTerminal can make TCP/IP and modem connections as well as direct COM port connections. "Synapse Syndrome" <synapse@NOSPAMsyndrome.me.uk>wrote in message Quote"Dave" <dave@beepbeep.com>wrote in message |
