I've put a short cut of windows calendar in the startup folder but it doesn't

startup when I start the computer. I cannot see anywhere on screen saying

that its blocked for any reason.

Can anyone help a vista new comer?

Are you booting the machine each time or just resuming from sleep mode?

I just tried it and it worked fine.

Right click on Windows in the start menu and select Send to>Desktop

Then drag this shortcut into the startup menu folder.
