This is caused by "User Account Control" and the Filesystem being
virtualized ( e.g. the folders are fake folders and not the real ones ) .
You have a few options : get an alternate filemanager like TotalCommander
( www.ghisler.com ) and set it to show hidden directories, then have a look
within this Norton-Commander Clone in your C:\user\.. directories.
If you have saved it before in Internet Explorer then this file has to be
somewhere deep in the directories that normally you will never see.
Or :
Use alternate browsers like firefox or opera for this action if you want
UAC enabled.These Browsers do not make use of the virtualization feature in
Vista.
Or :
Disable all these doubtful security-features in Vista :
Startorb/ type in the searchbox or in the runbox : msconfig, then go to the
tab named tools and select "disable user account control. You will need to
reboot for the effect.
