View .mdi files
Windows Vista31
Hi, I have just purchase a new PC with Vista Business. I have lots of files which were created in the .mdi format on my old PC with Windows XP. How do I view these files in Vista? Any help would be appreciated. David - |

Assuming you do not have, or do not wish to install, MS Office 2003 or
later, this may help: www.bugysoft.com/" >www.bugysoft.com/ Otherwise: www.mydigitallife.info/2007/05/13/how-to-open-mdi-microsoft-document-imaging-format-with-office-2007/" >www.mydigitallife.info/2007/05/13/how-to-open-mdi-microsoft-document-imaging-format-with-office-2007/ -- Maxwell Bluemeanie "davidb" <davidb@discussions.microsoft.com>wrote in message QuoteHi, |

Re:View .mdi files
Max,
Thanks for the reply. I have MS Office 2007 on my new PC. When I try to open the .mdi file using either Word or Notepad, it comes up as jibberish. It seems that these programs can't read the .mdi file. Any thoughts????? Thanks again. DB "Max" wrote: QuoteAssuming you do not have, or do not wish to install, MS Office 2003 or |

Did you look at the information in the second link---and try it?
