emailing large attachments

Windows Vista25
I have recently gotten Windows Vista. I make alot of video's and email them

to family and friends. I was able to do this with Windows XP but with

Windows Vista

I get a message saying it is too large. My question is how do I change my

email setting so I am able to send bigger attachments??

thank you much, Barb

I would sugggest that you upload the

files to a site like the following. Then all

you have to send to your recipients is

a link and they can download the file

anytime they wish.

"YouSendIt"

www.yousendit.com/" >www.yousendit.com/

All you have to do is enter an e-mail

address in the "To:" (Recipient) field

and click the "Browse" button to select

the file you wish to upload. Then click

the "Send It" button.

The next screen that appears will give

you the download link. Just copy/paste

it into the message to your recipients

I'd guess that the message is coming from the email server, not your

client. The plain fact is that the email system is not the right

distribution medium for huge files. Take John Inzer's advice and put

the file someplace where your friends can access it, then send them

the URL.
