Will,

I know some things right after the install of SP1 didn't seem right. A

good friend of mine has a dual monitor setup and after the first boot of

SP1, it didn't recognize or use the dual monitor setup. After a reboot

and some adjustments, the dual monitors are working just fine. I'd say,

reboot and see how things proceed from there. I've been using SP1 since

it was beta without any issues. Hopefully your situation will be self

correcting.

Re:Major bug found with sp1

Yes it is set to be on top ,the checkbox "Keep the taskbar on top of other

windows " is checked unchecking it only puts maximised windows over the

taskbar which I don't want.

After installing sp1 maximised windows actually have the bottom portion

covered by the taskbar if there's no fix for this I will actually seriously

considder uninstalling sp1

I must have the stand alone version of SP1 without that bug, both show

the statuse bar here.

When you maximise other windows is the task bar "On Top"? Or is it just

the 2 you mentioned?

You might want to uncheck "keep Taskbar ontop of other windows" open IE

see what changed then recheck "Keep taskbar ontop of other windows" and

see if that might have toggled a change. Or maybe even a

Autohide taskbar setting try to toggle that one as well.

Re:Major bug found with sp1

Re:Major bug found with sp1

Problem solved for now

I had auto hide the taskbar enabled as a temporary workaround then I

rebooted and disabled auto hide and so far it's working fine after a few

reboots

Re:Major bug found with sp1

To clarify: are talking about Maximized (box next the the X) or Gull Screen

(F11)?

Re:Major bug found with sp1

I don't have the problem that Will, has but I did notice that after

installing SP1, my 2 monitors were swapped. It was no problem switching

them back.

Working just fine here

Re:Major bug found with sp1

I have a slight variation of this issue - since installing SP1 the task-bar

autohide isnt working properly. If I set autohide on/hit apply, the taskbar

hides. The 1st time I move the cursor to bottom the taskbar reappears. BUT

when I move the cursor off the taskbar it stays visible - just a wee bit

irritating. Suggestions?

Thanks!

Yeah, get used to having the taskbar visable all the time, if you want to

use it.
