Hello: I am enclosing the following story because I'm so pissed off about it I don't know what else to do. Child pornography is violence directed at children, not sex. Pornography is a depiction of sexual contact between consenting adults. Child pornography is really child rape. There have been 12 children in the US killed by pedophiles in the last year alone. Authorities have named the boyfriend of a woman whose 6-year-old daughter was found hanging in her family's garage as the primary suspect in the girl's death, The Dallas Morning News reported today. Kevin Anders, 32, is being held on $100,000 bail on a child pornography charge, the Navarro County sheriff's office said. Anders is suspected in the death of Hanna Mack, whose body was discovered by her mother, Dana Mack, on Monday. Preliminary autopsy results confirmed the girl had been sexually assaulted. Anders, who has not been charged with the murder, works as a convenience store clerk, an arrest report said. "Computer files obtained during the initial crime scene investigation revealed the presence of pornographic images of children," Navarro County sheriff's Chief Deputy Mike Cox told the News. Dana Mack found the girl hanging in the garage that houses an above-ground swimming pool, authorities said. Yesterday, neighbors gathered outside the garage in Navarro Mills, a rural lakeside community in east Texas, and prayed during a vigil. They donated money to the family, held a moment of silence and released balloons into the air. In a letter to the sheriff's department, Navarro County Justice of the Peace Vicki Gray said an autopsy of the body showed "a multitude of events that together caused the death of this child." No other details were released. Police said Dana Mack began searching after she realized Hanna was missing at a time she would have been getting ready for school. The mother last saw Hanna sleeping on the couch around 1 a.m. Monday, according to Jean Langford, the girl's great-grandmother. "(Dana) is just devastated. We all are," Langford said. "This is the worst thing that's ever happened to this family. Hanna was our pride and joy. She was our little sweetheart." Thank you. - |
