Windows Vista1
;HI I need HELP!! Whenever I try to do a complete backup in vista i get the following error: "THE WRITER EXPIERENCED A NON-TRANSIENT ERROR. IF THE BACKUP IS RE TRIED THE EROR IS LIKLEY TO RE OCCUR". (0x800423F4) I dont understand what to do; and do not mean to be simple minded, but isn't the back-up supposed to occur when you hit the "start" button? CAN ANYONE HELP? PS the file backup works, just not the "BACKUP YOUR PC" BUTTON. THANKS, EDWARD B. SPERLING - |

Re:UNABLE TO BACKUP PC IN WINDOWS VISTA ULTIMATE
You cannot perform a backup directly to a CD or DVD.
You need to create a new folder on your hard drive and designate that folder during backup, then burn the folder containing the backup file to a CD or DVD. -- Carey Frisch Microsoft MVP Windows Shell/User --------------------------------------------------------------- "EDDIE" wrote: ;HI I need HELP!!
