Minimizing screens with Vista
Windows Vista28
When on my laptop, I can click in the middle of the page and the whole window will either close or minimize. This happens with any window or screen I have open. It's getting to the point where I am ready to get rid of Vista. Can someone please help? I don't know for sure if my description above is reliable. Thanks in advance!!! - |

I would guess you have some driver conflict in one of the Human Interface
devices (HID). Your mouse driver, touch pad, keyboard, or whatever. -- Was this helpful? Then click the Ratings button. Sounds like you have an Alps touchpad (or similar), which can be configured to use the 'gestures' to scroll, close or minimise windows. It's actually pretty cool once you get used to it, but if it is too much for you, it can be disabled. Look in Mouse in Control Panel. ss. - |
