Access 2007

Windows Vista5
I have three new pc running vista business and installed office 2007 on each.

put Access FE on each pc and BE on a public foldr in one of the PCs with full

control permission for everyone on the public folder. Why can only one person

on each pc get into access at any one time?

David, you might also ask in the MS public Access group if you haven't

already done so since there may be more specialized knowledge there and

you get quicker answers.

This may be a licensing issue that can be resolved or maybe you have

reached a point where installing an SQL server would be the most (or

only) secure way so access is limited to avoid clashes and possible data

loss.

I've played with Access and SQL a bit, hate both and so not in any

position at all to advise.

Re:Access 2007

Charlie, thanks for your input but I thought I would let you, and anyone else

interested, know that I solved the problem with the following hotfix:

support.microsoft.com/kb/935366/" >support.microsoft.com/kb/935366/

That's Microsoft for you.
