Re:Just bought Vista Ultimate, No option for 64bit version.?
I could be wrong but I believe the retail version of Vista contains both the
32 and 64 bit o/s. You get an option as to which one to pick during the install. I bought an OEM version and had to get 64-bit as a stand-alone because it was OEM. -- Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 2.4 GHz (OC @ 3.01 GHz), Asus P5K mobo, 4 GB Crucial BallistiX DDR2 8500 RAM, Radeon HD2600XT 256MB, Seagate Barracuda 320GB HD, Vista Ultimate 64-bit. Re:Just bought Vista Ultimate, No option for 64bit version.?
I Believe That It Has To Be A Fully Activated OEM Copy Of 64 Bit Windows XP
SP1 Or SP2, Just FYI. P.S. Try Asking About It In The Microsoft Windows 64 Bit Computing Newsgroup, Just Go To www.windowsvista.com," >www.windowsvista.com, Then Click On Help And How To, Next Click On Community, Then Click On Discussions, Finally Click On Windows 64 Bit Computing, and Post Your Question There, Just FYI. P.S.S. I Used To Read And Post In That Newsgroup All The Time While I Was Running Windows XP 64 Bit Edition SP1 (Before I Got Involved In Windows Vista Beta Testing During The Windows Vista Beta Test) But, I Eventually Switched Over To Reading And Posting In This Newsgroup When It Got Activated In Early 2006, Just FYI.
