Auto Start of Programs on startup
Windows Vista10
I would like to have Outlook automatically start when I boot up my machine in the mornings. I have been looking for it but not able to locate where I put the file to get it to autoload on start up. Can someone enlighten me as to where that is done in Vista?? thanks Bob - |

Right click the shortcut>Properties>Open file location.

You can easily do this by clicking and dragging. Also you can put a copy of the shortcut into the folder: C:\Users\<userprofile>\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\Startup Charlie42 - |

Re:Auto Start of Programs on startup
It's not wise to put Outlook in the Startup Group since you will get errors
when Outlook loads before the other services. A better idea is to add the Outlook shortcut to your Quick Launch bar and click on it after everything loads and your Internet Connection is showing a connection in your Navigation Pane. Re:Auto Start of Programs on startup
Put a shortcut on your Quick Launch bar instead of in your Startup group.
Outlook must load last after all other services and your Internet Connection is made. You will get errors if OL starts before the connection is established. "Davet102" wrote: QuoteI would like to have Outlook automatically start when I boot up my machine in |
