Image Verification Does Not Display

Internet Explorer109
On some websites I am unable to display verification images. The ones I am

referring to are the little pictures with letters and numbers that you are

supposed to type in for verification. If anyone has a suggestion as to how I

can get these to display, that would be fantastic.

Re:Image Verification Does Not Display

Does this happen on every web site where verification images are

displayed? If so, your security software may be blocking the image. For

example: If you have ad blocking, your software may consider the image

an advertisement.

If it only happens on one particular web site, it may be a server-side

issue, in which case you should contact the webmaster.

Re:Image Verification Does Not Display

It does not happen on all websites. I have verified that the ones that don't

work on my laptop do actually work on my desktop so I figure something is not

installed on my laptop. The square and graph will display but not the letter

and number overlay. Or at least that's how I imagine it works.

Are you using the same security software on both?

Does the problem machine have any Norton add-ons in Tools | Manage Add-ons?

Re:Image Verification Does Not Display

No they are not running the same security software but on the problem

computer there is no Norton add-in in IE.

Re:Image Verification Does Not Display

I'd agree with Leonard. It's the security program(s), probably blocking ads

or popups.
