Internet Explorer / IE >> Internet explorer opening all my office documents in IE
I go to school and teachers post all their notes as office documents online
(mainly word and powerpoint). When you click on the hyperlink you get the
pop up that asks whether you want to open or save. I click on open and it
opens it in IE and I can't edit the document when it does this. Any
suggestions?

If you don't want to save, then try this:
How to Configure Internet Explorer to Open Office Documents in
the Appropriate Office Program Instead of in IE:

No other ideas, apart from using Save instead of Open.
Which method did you try? (1 or 2?)

I tried option 1 where you go to folder options and select the program you
want to open files. It was already selected for all my office files so I
don't know why IE7 is doing this. Especially since it was working fine a
week ago. Anything else?
