Internet Explorer / IE >> Bringing it to the top..........
This did not work. Any other suggestions?
The CleaIECache will not install on my PC. I get "it was interrupted before
it could install" error.
Now what? :*(
We still have the problem and did everything you suggested. Ran all
anti-spyware and anti-virus programs and found nothing.

Internet Explorer / IE >> Bringing it to the top..........
RESOLUTION
To resolve this problem, delete the Index.dat file in Internet Explorer:
1.In Internet Explorer, on the Tools menu, click Internet Options.
2.On the General tab, under Temporary Internet files, click Delete Files.
3.On the Delete Files dialog box message that is displayed, click OK.
4.Under History, click Clear History.
5.On the Delete all items in your History folder? dialog box, click OK.
6.Quit Internet Explorer.
* 7.Log on to the computer by using the account of a user who does not
experience the problem, and then open a command prompt.
8.Change the directory to the following path:
drive:\Documents and Settings\username\Local Settings\Temporary Internet
Files\Content.IE5
9.Type del index.dat, and then press ENTER
* I could not do this because there are no other users listed. Only myself.
There are no passwords and no logging in.

Internet Explorer / IE >> Bringing it to the top..........
IE6 worked for 15 minutes, then could no longer find pages so I had to
switch to Mozilla to finish my work. The cache is empty (she used Ccleaner)
and even with IE6 closed Task-Manager shows it running in the process
window. The CPU runs at 50% when this happens. It usually runs at 1% when
idle. We can't locate any problems in any other areas but IE6 - HELP!!!!!

Hi,
Some malware can avoid removal by multiple programs.
Go to The Parasite Fight http://www.aumha.org/a/quickfix.htm
Work through the preliminary cleaning steps, then post a HijackThis log. Be
patient- the volunteers have, to some degree or another ;-) offline lives.
