Internet Explorer / IE >> IE7 Bug Report - Active Desktop Items won't auto synchronise

I've decided to raise this to a Bug Report - synchronised active desktop
items won't stay attached to a schedule. Each time I tick the appropriate
box in Display Properties -> Customise Desktop -> Web -> Properties ->
schedule, the next time I go in, it's unticked, and its back to "Only when I
choose Synchronise from the Tools Menu". This is the same after a reboot.

the following from the release notes may be something to do with it - :
"d.. Offline Favorites - Offline Favorites and Scheduled Offline
Favorites have been removed from Internet Explorer 7. Internet Explorer
supports RSS feeds which provides scheduled updates to web content and
offline reading of this content. For more information on feed reading
experience, read RSS Blog."

but you can manually refresh active desktop items, if not attach them to a
schedule. (very strange)

i suppose I will need to see if I can use RSS to embed updateable web
graphics in the desktop..

Couldn't see a way of using RSS to replicate Active Desktop items, so I've
rolled back to IE6 and the items now update automatically again. I think
this may be the end of the line for IE for me!
