Internet Explorer / IE >> Close last tab

It would be very nice to be able to close the last (to a blank page at least)
from the tab right-click menu. Because IE7 is now more like an app that is
almost always open due to its wonderful multi-tab system, I often find myself
done browsing for the moment and wish to close out (unload) all open tabs.
But I cannot do all of them. "Close Other Tabs" is just not quite enough. I
want to be able to close all tabs. If this entails closing all tabs while
keeping one tab open with either a blank page or the first defined home page,
that would be fine. I just don't always want to leave the last page up (it
might be my bank statement or something). And closing the IE7 application and
then reopening it seems like overkill.

Thanks for listening.

Internet Explorer / IE >> Close last tab Actually, just having a small X on the last tab (which it currently does not)
would work. Then when it is X'ed, that last (only) page could just go to a
blank page or home page which would take care of the problem.

Internet Explorer / IE >> Close last tab Easy solution. Set new tabls to be a blank page. Click new tab and then on
that tab click close other tabs.

Internet Explorer / IE >> Close last tab Yes, all these things can be done, and I am doing them now. But I am hoping
Microsoft will see my suggestion as a quicker, easier way that may also be
user-friendly. Closing all the tabs is kind of like "clearing" all the tabs,
and right now you can't easily "clear" all of the tabs.
