Internet Explorer / IE >> IE 7.0.5730.11 bug on AJAX page in div w. both writing-mode and ti
In short:
Flashing title attribute popup when writing-mode set and AJAX makes HTTP
request.
I have a AJAX page that repeatedly fetches small amounts of information from
a database until the user aborts it by clicking somewhere (or all data has
been fatched).
On the page there is a table with a very narrow heading (due to space
limitations) and since the data in the column takes up just one charchter (Y
or N) I did not want to waste space just because of the heading, so I used
writing-mode:
Now for the strange part. The title popup flashes on and of (while the mouse
pointer is over it, per usual) each time the AJAX JavaScript makes a HTTP
request. But it only happens for title attributes where writing-mode is also
applied! Other title attributes show up normally without the flashing.
Just wanted all bug collectors out there to know :-)

I forgot to mention that the AJAX JavaScript HTTP request loop is triggered by
setTimeout("getData()", 10000);
