Internet Explorer / IE >> Adobe plugin
I'm running IE5.5 and have Acrobat 5 and Adobe Reader 6. Is there anyway of
setting IE so that opening pdf's in IE uses the Reader and not the Acrobat
writer, as some functions available in the reader are not supported in
Acrobat 5

Hello,
If you have any saved .pdf's , right-click on one of them, go to properties,
click 'open with' and change the application to adobe reader. I think that
this should do the trick.

Thanks for your reply, they open with the reader when double clicked
normally. It's when opening a link within IE that they open with the earlier
version writer.

Hi Collies - In BOTH Reader and Acrobat go to Edit, Preferences,
Internet and uncheck in Acrobat and check in Reader the "Display PDF in
Browser" box, then reboot. See if that does it for you.
